One thing you never want to do when fighting a ritualist is give them time to summon the spirits, for if they do your fight will get extremely hard. The 3 main types of Guild Wars Ritualists are : Spirit Spammer - This Ritualist gets out as many spirits as fast as they can then tries to keep them all up as they fade away. Caster - This Ritualist normally does not use the summoning of spirits to fight but uses high damage lightning spells to harm their foes. Support - This Ritualist is one that doesn’t fight so much, as they will keep the group alive through some spirits and healing. Yes they can heal, but not as well as a Monk but they do very well. Choosing a secondary profession for your Guild Wars Ritualist. When choosing a secondary profession for your Guild Wars Ritualist, first you should decide on what your main goal is going to be. Once you have decided, look at the skills that the other professions have. You can even test some of them out in the game through missions before deciding. This will let you decide if those skills will help you do what you want in the game. For example: You decide to go with the Support build, with mainly skills to help you heal. Choosing a Monk would be a good choice because they have skills that can help you heal and protect your group. Ritualist as a secondary class for other primary professions. The Con'sThe bad thing about taking a Ritualists as a secondary profession is that almost all of the summon spells take a while to cast, and use quite a bit of magic. Some of the spells are based on holding an item like a flag or one you can create through your spells. When you do this though your magic power may decrease if you were boosting it through your weapon. The same goes for your hit points. Basic Ritualist InfoArmor: Ritualist have low armor, so they will take less damage in a fight, not much less but some. There are 19 sets of armor, each with its own unique look. There are five pieces to each set. You can mix and match your armor to create a unique look for yourself. Weapons: In Guild Wars you can use any weapon in the game. Channeling Magic - This line more about offensive spells and spirits. Most of your damage will come from this line. You will do more damage with more points in this skill line. Also for every point you put in this attribute, the skills in it get stronger. Communing - This line is mostly on protecting. It has spirits that will slow or help stop damage, has many weapon spells as well. For every point you put in this attribute, the skills in it get stronger. Restoration Magic - This is the heal line for a ritualist. This attribute line has spirits that help heal, and spells that heal others. For every point you put in this attribute, the skills in it get stronger.
