Grand Court of Sebelkeh
Closing the Rifts

Few basics about Grand Court of Sebelkeh...
(article continues below)

When I speak of bonus I am talking about masters bonus which is harder of the two to get. Bonus's are Masters (hardest), Expert (moderate).

Suggested Hero's and Henchmen to Bring: this will be what I have found most effective, and will take it as if you have all the hero's.

General Tips

Set all hero's to the shield (defense) that way they do not attack unless they are attacked or you attack. I like to set my healing hero's to passive so they don't attack just heal.

Grand Court of Sebelkeh Walk Through

The set up for this mission is as Follows.

Center is the alter For the god Lyssa, then in a triangular placement are the 3 rifts. Each rift is guarded by Margonites and a Torment Claw. In order to complete this mission you must close all 3 rifts while holding onto the center alter.

You close the rift or hold onto the alter by standing near it while having more characters than the Margonites. So basically if there is 1 Margonite by the rift you will need to have 2 of your party in the spot to start closing it or defeat him and stand there till the rift closes. You will notice 4 bars on your screen which indicate who has what or taking over what.

Red means the Margonites are taking it or holding it, black or blue means its yours. Also you can only close a rift with a maximum of 4 pips (the little arrows that are on the bar). There is one exception to this rule and its not in your favor, the mob Blasphemy has a automatic +1 pip so the Margonites can have a total of 5 if your not careful. If that wasn't bad enough once you do he becomes 3 energy orbs that do not have the same ability as he does.

You start off between 2 of the rifts once you or any party member moves outside the circle the Margonites will head to the center to capture the Alter. In order to stop hero's and henchmen from aggroing the mobs near the rifts flag them at the alter.

The first part is wave after wave after the last of the mobs from the 12 waves has been defeated (sometimes a bit earlier especially in Hard mode) Blasphemy will start spawning. Along with the +1 pip ability he has a skill that allows him to get a nice little jump on capturing alters or reopening rifts. If this skill is used it will start to reopen any closed rifts.

Blasphemy spawns at random from any open rift, so quick recap on this mob +1 pip a skill to reopen rifts and when defeated spawns 3 orbs, and does not always go to the alter but may go to open a rift. The only good thing about This mob is he has low armor and low Hit points.

The basic strategy here is defeat the first 12 mobs go close a rift defeat Blasphemy, close another rift, repeat till mission is complete.

Getting The Grand Court of Sebelkeh Bonus

Getting the bonus is pretty easy in normal mode. The strategy here is flag your henchmen in the center and then flag your hero's at the rifts taking out the Margonites and the Torment Claw and closing the rifts while the Henchmen Take care of Blasphemy and the energy orbs. The hardest part of this is making sure you flag your hero's to were you want them to go and not accidentally sending the henchmen. On the last Rift unflag all the henchmen and hero's and close the last rift then go back and defeat Blasphemy. If all goes well you will have gotten The Bonus.

Playing Grand Court of Sebelkeh in Hard Mode

OHH boy this one is not fun Do Not try to do this solo, it will frustrate you, make you mad, and drive you crazy and that's just 30 sec into the mission. I do suggest you grab 1 or 2 good game buddies and give it a whirl.

This one you want to clear most of the mobs in the waves, then while most are defeated hit one of the rifts and close it down, if you see Blasphemy running to the center try to stop him before he gets there. Then hit the next rift hopefully the one he will be leaving from to head to the center once again stop him and close that rift. Head to the center because by this time He will probably be there again. defeat him quickly then head to the rift and if he pops again defeat him before he gets to the center and try to close the rift quiche as you do all this.

This is Not easy in Hard Mode, Do not let anyone fool you into thinking it is. It can be done but its still a pain.

I want to thank Savior and Suzan for helping me kick this ones tail end.
